Our models have achieved 65.8% accuracy on walk-forward validated predictions against real sportsbook closing lines. This is tested on out-of-sample data only — we never use hindsight or cherry-pick results.
Predictions are typically published 5–7 days before each UFC event, once the card is finalized and odds are available from major sportsbooks.
No. BoutMetrics is an analytics and prediction platform only. We do not accept, place, or facilitate any wagers. We provide odds comparison from licensed sportsbooks for informational purposes.
We aggregate real-time moneyline odds from multiple sportsbooks (DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, and others) and prediction markets. The odds page highlights the best available price for each fighter across all tracked books.
ELO is a rating system originally developed for chess that we have adapted for MMA. Each fighter starts at 1500 and gains or loses points based on fight outcomes. Beating a higher-rated opponent earns more points. It provides a single number to compare fighters across weight classes.
